Seriously, who is going to smell their wrists? Why do people spray perfume on their wrists?
There is a pulse in your wrist.. also the sweat glands spread the scent!! But they also spray it on their wrists when they are just testing the scent to smell and see if they want it, I mean you don't want to spritz it all over yourself and end up not liking it, then you have to walk around with a smell you don't like!! You just want it in a small spot. =)Why do people spray perfume on their wrists?
Anyone will smell it when she makes any movements with her hands.
It is sprayed on the pulse points, i.e. the wrists, carotid arteries, the backs of the knees.
The same reason they put it on their necks, there are major sweat glands there and it helps the scent spread.
so people can smell it when you move your hands, like grab their face, hair or just plain passing by them.
This is one of your pulsating points. As the pulse pumps the scent releases.
I think is makes the perfume spread more or something.
its at a part of your body where ur pulse is, therefore, its accentuates the scent
It's a warm place plus the pulse . The perfume will stay longer and dissipate evenly. I always do and it's also not so overpowering. I have given you my own personal reason not a scientific one.
i think they spray it on their wrists, then rub their wrists on their clothes so that they don't have to spray too much.
in addition to being a pulse point as many others have pointed out, ladies in victorian and older times had very little skin showing, but they could put perfume at their wrists and when they danced with men it would be noticed and when they flicked their wrists to move their fans then the scent would waft and attract attention. i think it was the way you did things and we still do it today b/c everyone else did it before
well, where else r u supposed to spray perfume?
