How do you keep perfume or body spray scent lasting for hours?

Tips?

Thanks. How do you keep perfume or body spray scent lasting for hours?
If you can get the bath oil that matches your favorite perfume use that after bathing then use your fragrance. Bath oils are usually a strong form of the scent plus the oils help set your perfume. If that's not possible use an unscented body lotion then your perfume. How do you keep perfume or body spray scent lasting for hours?
1. If your skin is dry put on an all-over body lotion that matches or is similar to the scent of your perfume before you spray your actual perfume. If you apply perfume immediately after you get out of the shower (while your skin is still moist) it will also have the same effect. The perfume will adhere better to moist skin and make it last longer.

2. Spray once near the base of your neck where your ';baby hairs'; are located. Perfume adheres to hair very well, but because it contains alcohol you don't want to spray it to the top part of your hair because it will dry out your hair.

3. Spray on pulse points (insides of elbows, neck, wrist, etc.) or where your body is warmest (such as your chest). These areas of the body heat up throughout the day which will release a burst of your fragrance everytime it heats up.

4. Spray low. As your body heat releases it will rise upwards making you smell good so spray the back of your knees where the leg bends.

If all else fails you can carry a small bottle of your perfume around for touch-ups throughout the day or buy a new perfume. Some perfumes last longer than others. The two perfumes I have that last all day without reapplying are Juicy by Juicy Couture (the original one) and Dolce %26amp; Gabanna's Light Blue. Best of luck!
I take a cotton ball or those cosmetic pads and spray it on the cotton ball or such and place it in my bra between my breasts...it lasts and lasts. And as you body heats it continues to emanate the sent. Also, spray it on all your pulse points: wrists, behind your knees, front of your neck at your throat, behind you ears and lastly, shower a spray just above your head so it gently falls on your hair (your hair can hold any scent..just like smoke...etc.?) (I love fragrance...my favorite is Dolce %26amp; Gabbana - Light Blue.) Maybe, try one idea at a time and see what is right for you. Otherwise, you can become over whelming to others. Also, remember, the more you use a particular scent, the more you become accustom to the scent. You may no longer smell it as strong, however, others do and you will know by the compliments. Sadly, this is how it is ~ you find a scent, LOVE IT, wear it and enjoy it and after time you can only smell/enjoy it at the time of application. Try the cotton ball/cosmetic pad, it works! :)
Well i'm not too sure about girls, but for guys, i've got a tip.

If you're going out to a club or a bar in which you're sure you're going to sweat, put some cologne on the outside of your shirt (not too much mind you), and then some deodorant and put it on your chest.

By the time you start sweating, the cologne would have worn off, and you'll simply start smelling like your deodorant.

good luck!
try layering scents, like use the same lotion, body spray etc. also, especially if you have dry skin, reapply during the day since it will absorb into your skin faster.
Buy n expensive perfume. In India, those types of perfumes are called itr or attar. Put one drop on a tissue (not on your body). It last s for weeks.
Put it on just after you get out of the shower. The dampness helps hold the scent better.
dont put it in your hair like 'Vera' said unless you want to go bold.
i heard it lasts longer if you spray it in your hair? ha...idk...(:
