Whenever i spray perfume on myself, the smell stays for a bit, then goes away. How do i make the smell last?

Perfumes are alcohol and water based. They evaporate quickly. The best perfume is oil based or body oils. I am not sure where in the states to get them, but when I was in the military I would buy them when I was overseas.Whenever i spray perfume on myself, the smell stays for a bit, then goes away. Spray your perfume on your pulse points. Wrists, neck, and cleavage. Also, most of the very cheap perfume are cheap for a reason. Buy a good perfume, I personally find Eau de Parfum lasting longer than an Eau the Toilette. But if it's a good EDT, it should last for around 7 hours. Perfume is build up in layers, the top layer is meant to fade early on. It's only meant to grab your attention. The middle and the base are the ones you should like to buy the perfume. For those are the ones you'll be smelling for hours. Also, some people don't smell their own perfume after a while, because they get used to the smell. If you use perfume regularly, switch perfumes often.Whenever i spray perfume on myself, the smell stays for a bit, then goes away. How do i make the smell last?
I always have that problem what you have to do it just spray some and then wait then ask ur mom / friend etc if they smell it because i always think i cant smell it it is just becuase it is on me and ur body gets used to the smell fast! and here also never spray more and more it is really annoying when u are shopping and u walk past some 1 with like half a bottle of perfume on hope i helped
i hate when that happens.. i read in a magazine that you spray the perfume for a longer lasting smell at the tips of your hair as it doesn't sweat there or anything and it last longer its not bad for your hair and it really works :) otherwise spray your clothing more than yourself another thing to do is use perfumed body lotion aswell as a spray :) good luck!
actually the perfume is still there u just get used to the smell after a while and thats y u dont smell it anymore...i have put on my brothers good perfume and it smell all the time on him when i get close but when i put it on it only smells for a while and then i cant smell it no more even though other people can still smell it around you =]
Depends on where you wear your perfume at. If you dap vaseline on your wrists, then your perfume, it will stay on all day. Same goes for behind your ears too, but i wouldn't use that much vaseline. It would suck if someone was kissing your neck and they just start tasting it lol.
i always spray my closet (all my clothes) so the smell sits on them so when i put them on it has my scent. spray isn't meant to stay on the body it's meant to stay on fabrics if you want your body to keep the scent try to find a lotion with the scent you prefer
The smell is still there, you just get used to it.

That's why you see older women or men smell like a perfume counter. They think it has gone away so they keep putting more on. But they are just used to it while everyone else can smell it a mile away.
the best way to maximize your results is to not spray yourself while you are wearing clothes. The scent will actually stick to you longer if you put it on while you are nude and apply it to bear skin. When you put it on clothes the scent leaves quickly
You're probably using cologne, which is water based. If you real perfume, which is oil based, it will last longer - although it is considerably more expensive.

You can also carry your spritzer with you....
it doesn't stay long unless you use a strong perfume. if you are using a body mist it won't stay unless you like spray it on every inch of your body but when you do that its way to powerful of a scent.
After you've had a perfume on for a while you can't smell it anymore because your nose gets used to it.

If you keep re applying it then you will have too much on.
It doesnt go away. The molecules in your nose take in the smell and are use to it, leading to you not being able to smell it.

But other people will be able to smell it.
Buy only expensive perfume. that it why it is expensive. Because it lasts and you don't have to keep spraying it.
The smell is still there your nose has just adapted to it. Everyone else can still smell it. Unless it weak like a body spray.
you may not smell it but other people do

the receptors in your nose get used to the smell and numb themselves to it.
it doesn't go away, you just get used to the smell throughout the day. other people can still smell it.
Spray on your pulse points. Spray some into the air and walk through it. Don't spray on your clothes.
spray more/dont g near the wind/stay in a hot place/dont stay in cod conditions,
spray more on ! meaning go to town with it spray it on your neck arms and torso and legs too.
better perfume?
Just carry it with you because nothing scented stuff never lasts
buy a stronger perfume.
mix it with some oil..like unscented...or buy the parfum its the most expensive but you get what you pay for...
