Is it okay to spray some perfume on my Yorkie dog?

We bath her and she goes to the parlor but my son says she still smells not so nice in between her washes. Is it safe for me to use my perfume on her?Is it okay to spray some perfume on my Yorkie dog?
Dogs aren't meant to smell like perfume, they're meant to smell like dogs!

Are you looking to keep her as a pet or as a pillowIs it okay to spray some perfume on my Yorkie dog?
No, do not spray perfume on your dog unless it is a specially deigned ';doggy perfume'; which you can get from pet stores...

Personally I don't like them at all, you can change the way a dog smells with a better diet.

Keeping your dog brushed and groomed is another way to help with smell.
internal deodorants work very fine. Try chlorophylinn, like Chlorofresh. I heard it works for the animals too, like as it does for humans, especially for dogs. have your puppy drink a bit everyday. It goes directly to the source, killing the bacterias that create the odor, that prevents them to begin on the first hand. perfumes don't do that - they cover an odor with another odor.
Check the perfume; only even possible would be hypoallergenic like made my Almay, but even that probably isn't a good idea.

Check with the groomer, modern ones sell dog perfume.

Also, you can buy sprays at the pet dept for smelling good fur between baths.
No. Dogs are too sensitive for perfume. Dogs should smell like dogs though, they like rolling in stuff because it is natural to them and they aren't people.

If your dog is particularly smelly consider her breath and what you are feeding her. Bones are good way to clean their teeth and help their breath or treats like Greenies.
No, it's not, they don't test them on animals anymore, so I wouldn't try it, I have a yorkie myself, and she's Very sensitive, We buy her this dogg spray at Pet Co, It's a spray For dogs, like a perfume, but meant and made For the dog.
NO the build up will become very rank after awhile and won't do much for her coat either. Get out the brush, hand it to your kid and tell him to start brushing every day.

Smell can also come from ears, mouth and anal glands.
What about wiping her with baby wipes instead of spraying her with perfume? You can get pet wipes at the pet store to help keep her fresh between bathes. They will wipe dirt off of her instead of just covering up the smell like perfume does.
Humane one isn't okay-the ingredients aren't suitable for dogs, but there are dog perfumes you can pick up at most pet supply stores
go to your local petsmart or petco and try to find between bath cleaner for her that will smell good if your kid is overly sensitive to the dog's smell.
No it's not ok

The perfume is for HUMANS it's not meant for dogs so... she could break out in a rash or something

You should buy her some doggie perfume
get a doggie spray. at the very least people stuff would dry her hair out and you dont want that on a yorkie.
Dogs smell like.....wait for it.....DOGS!

Isn't that bizarre?

WHY would you allow some spoiled rotten brat tell you anything?
No. It is not ok to put perfume on her. I recommend that you get some nice smelling shampoo.
no you might give her a skin problem. its a dog and if it smells bad you are not feeding good food
No its not OK......

Their is shampoo for dogs that smells really good and their are perfumes for dogs too.
